Ballymac Shopping Outlet, Dundalk gets the go ahead - 17th November 2005....
Opening Planned September 2007.
As of the 17th November 2005, the Judicial Review proceedings have been
dropped and the project now has planning. The 35 acre site was zoned on
26th November 2003 which allowed submission of planning of a detailed planning
application for the construction of a 14,200m2 gross internal area (12,000m2 net
retail area).
The €60m scheme is fully funded by ING Real Estate itself and, with 40% of
the space already in legals or under offer, work is expected to start on-site in
September 2006.
